On the campus of Columbia UniversityI am leaving tonight for the East Coast to attend my 30th high school reunion. I have never attended one since I graduated in 1977, mostly because those years were so difficult. After reading the last series of posts it may be clear why that was. But now I am looking forward to going back and seeing what has become of my classmates. Ironically, I'm giving an hour-long afternoon concert during the weekend festivities. It will be very different than I would have given 30 years ago!
My recently widowed mother is traveling back with me for a two-week stay, so blogging will probably be scanty over the next three weeks. I will be back after the 22nd.
